You should also know that it slows 56kers down, and it is a complete waste of space, since it won't make a difference on the position you want. We're not making you take them down, but... oh well.

We're not making you take them down, we're asking you to. Being a 56ker myself, I can honestly say that amount of page loading time it adds is significant, and yes I know about the cache supposedly removing htat problem, but I clear my cache regularly, negating its intended effect.

It's nice to see you all banding together for once and supporting each other, but could you please do it in a less image-intense way? You can use plain text in your sigs to get the same message across.
