ever been sitting around in your home and out of nowhere the city erupts in sirens for 5 minutes, and then you never hear anything about it afterwards? It happens here like once a month and just happened now
There was a large shootout on my front lawn with my neighbors about 6 years back. I never heard about it again and didn't see it in the news. It was super awkward.

We moved after that. It was a really bad neighborhood. I think everyone else that could have moved did as well. If my cats had caught a stray bullet I would have had to kill everyone in the neighborhood just to be sure I got the asshole back.
